Hello. Welcome to three bees in my bonnet blog. A blog of lots of things from nonsense to AI, PSD and AE tutorials. I also like to get proper hands-on and bake, sew, crochet, paper cut pictures and sometimes, pop-up cards and 3-d paper models.
These are my lovely Tesco Tearaway dungarees; nice but dull. I was getting bored with them. Yesterday, I chopped the hems off, stitched some braid around the bottoms and added a little trim on the bib. To finish off, I got out a fat darning needle and frayed them. Fun for round the house.
Oh so boho.
I finally indulged myself with a pair of colourful DMs. Very happy feet.
They will take a lot of softening up…
Hope you have a happy Easter and a break from work to eat lots of chocolate and watch a Bond movie. Seems to be a bank hol staple in UK/Ireland.

I'm in Ireland and married to a very nice chap who puts up with me. We have three rescue cats; Gracie, Charlie and Jess. :)
I bake, sew, embroider, paper cut, draw and paint in phases as to which interest grabs me at any one time. I also like up-cycling old furniture.

A great blog post, Elly, that really made me smile! I love what you’ve done with your dungarees, and the beautiful quilt they are lying on too. The DMs are a dream. I once spotted a pair of silver hologram DMs in a shop but pennies were short in those days and I had to walk away – I’ve never forgotten them though! Pretty Easter eggs too.
Thank you for another lovely comment. I don’t get many visits these days and always value yours! Thank you for all your kind words. I think the new storage unit for my inks is going to work – it’s been a lot of work but I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel now. I am happy to report that the palpitations seem to have gone away and all I can think is that I overdid things with all that sawing of pipes to make the storage unit! I expect the ECG on Tuesday will show that everything is OK. I love the idea of Gracie Mae putting on her pyjamas – I don’t think our Lily ever takes her pyjamas off because she sleeps for England, that one! Ruby is a lot more lively.
